D. Colin ~ Said the Badge to the Cop and Back: Student/Police Workshop

November 17, 2016 @ 4:00 pm - 5:30 pm

D. Colin

Dcolin

If the badge could talk , what would it say? There has been much discussion and increasing tension surrounding police activity on a national level. It has become more and more important for law enforcement and the communities they serve to communicate openly. The purpose of this workshop is to cause reflection, translate the meaning of policing through poetry and a create a safe space for police officers to express how they feel about the important work that they do. Participants will have the opportunity to write their own poems and also help create a group poem that represents the needs of their community.

This workshop is not open to the public.
